Avowed does not feature multiplayer support, whether in cooperative (co-op) mode or player versus player (PvP) mode. You'll embark on this fantasy journey solo, accompanied only by non-player character (NPC) companions, similar to the experience in The Outer Worlds.

Every enemy you encounter, no matter how formidable, will be controlled by the game's AI. There's also no feature akin to Sniper Elite's invasion mode, where other players could disrupt your gameplay. To put it plainly, Avowed has no form of multiplayer—no PvP, no invasion mode, and no co-op mode. However, it wasn't always planned this way.

What Happened to Avowed’s Planned Multiplayer?
