"Assassin’s Creed Shadows: Year of Free Content and Story Updates Revealed"

The excitement surrounding Assassin’s Creed Shadows continues to grow as Ubisoft unveiled its year 1 post-launch roadmap, promising a wealth of new content and engaging updates for players. Launched over a month ago, AC Shadows has already captured the hearts of gamers, and Ubisoft is committed to enhancing the experience with their upcoming additions.

Year 1 Post-Launch Roadmap

On May 1, Ubisoft took to Twitter (X) to share their ambitious plans for Assassin’s Creed Shadows. The roadmap includes a series of exciting Story Drops, which are free content updates designed to enrich the game's narrative and gameplay. According to Ubisoft, "These new free quests will introduce new player abilities, new allies, new world activities, and provide deeper looks and backstories for some of your favorite characters, each new piece of content expanding on the main game."

In addition to the free Story Drops, Ubisoft also reminded fans about the eagerly awaited first expansion, The Claws of Awaji, set to release later this year. This expansion will take players to the island of Awaji, a brand-new region to explore post-epilogue of the base game. Players can expect to encounter new enemies, unlock new abilities for both protagonists, and wield an exclusive new weapon for Naoe.
