How to Complete All Arata Stages in GHOUL://RE

After numerous attempts, we've successfully navigated **all three Arata stages** in *GHOUL://RE*. While these stages don't require advanced gaming skills or extensive exploration, they do demand a significant amount of **Reputation grinding**. We're talking about a lot of grinding here!

Arata Stage 1 in GHOUL://RE

To begin, you need to accumulate **25,000 Reputation** points and reach the highest rank of **Special Investigator** within the C.C.G. organization. Head to the **Commission of Counter Ghoul** (C.C.G. center) and locate **Damiro D. Mado** on the second floor. He's the NPC with headphones who will assign you the Arata Stage 1 quest. Your task is to collect **10 one-eyed fragments** and **10 Kokuja fragments**.

The quickest way to gather these is by defeating bosses like **Eto and Tatara**, and then crafting the fragments at a crafting table. To check your Reputation, talk to **Saiyo Natsuki**, the NPC in a black suit and tie. Once you have **all 20 fragments**, combine them into **five one-eyed Kokuja fragments** at the working station. Return to **Damiro**, and he'll instruct you to speak with "him". This caused confusion within the *GHOUL://RE* community until it was revealed that "he" is **Black Reaper of Doom And Despair**, who was hiding in plain sight. Arata Stage 2 in GHOUL://RE

For **Arata stages 2 and 3**, you must play in **permadeath** (PD) mode to acquire the legendary armor. We recommend teaming up with reliable allies, as solo missions can be frustrating.

Once you've gathered **100,000 Reputation points**, head to the elevator in the C.C.G. building and go to **the Laboratory**. There, you'll find **Black Reaper of Doom And Despair**, the man with the scalpel in a black suit next to the door.

Hand over five one-eyed Kokuja fragments along with your 100,000 Reputation, and you'll complete Stage 2, unlocking **Arata-Proto armor**. There's been much debate online about the required Reputation points, with some players suggesting 75,000 or between 90,000 and 100,000. However, our experience confirms that **100,000 Reputation points** are necessary for guaranteed success.

Remember, you must play the second and third Arata Stages in *GHOUL://RE* on **PD servers**. Attempting this on non-PD servers will result in a repeated response from the Black Reaper, and you **will not complete** Arata Stage 2 or gain access to Arata Stage 3.

Arata Stage 3 in GHOUL://RE

The final Arata Stage involves **Black Reaper of Doom And Despair**, more fragments, and a substantial amount of cash. As with Stage 2, you **must be in PD mode** to continue your quest for the epic armor.

Once you've secured a single one-eyed Kakuja fragment and **500,000 Yen**, visit **Black Reaper of Doom And Despair** in the C.C.G. building. After paying him, he'll teleport you to face the **Kishou Arima boss**.

Defeating Kishou Arima requires at least average gaming skills. Expect a battle involving jumping, dodging, blocking, and dealing substantial damage from above. While challenging, with practice, even average players can triumph. Be prepared to face potential deaths during this encounter and stock up on resources. Each retry will cost an additional **one-eyed Kakuja fragment** and **500,000 Yen**.

Upon defeating Kishou Arima, you'll unlock Stage 3 Arata-Proto armor. Be cautious, as while Arata armor provides impressive buffs and protection, it also has significant drawbacks, as detailed below.

**Arata-Proto Armor Buffs**

Arata is a formidable armor, but it **drains your hunger** at an alarming rate. You can't eat while wearing Arata in any stage, so you'll need to **remove the armor** to replenish your hunger levels. Despite this, the benefits are substantial: you're immune to being ragdolled, a crucial advantage in various game scenarios.

Additionally, Arata enhances your equipment, making your character significantly "tankier" and capable of both enduring and dealing massive damage. However, if the armor depletes your hunger during a fight, it will start consuming your **health bar**. Be mindful of this, especially in boss fights, and remove the armor if necessary to heal.

**Reputation Grinding**

The fastest way to earn the required Reputation is by battling bosses in **PD mode**. Each boss killed in PD mode yields **1,500 Reputation**, a much higher amount compared to the **500** earned outside of PD. Killing Ghouls only grants **100 Reputation** points per kill, making them less efficient for grinding during Arata quests.
