April 2025 PlayStation Plus Games Unveiled

Author:Kristen Update:May 14,2025

Sony has unveiled an exciting lineup for PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers for April 2025, featuring RoboCop: Rogue City (PS5), The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (PS4, PS5), and Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory (PS4). These titles were announced through a PlayStation.Blog post and will be available to subscribers from April 1 until the next update on May 5.

The April 2025 selection caters to a wide range of gaming preferences. RoboCop: Rogue City, developed by Teyon and Nacon, is a first-person shooter that immerses players in the role of Alex Murphy, fighting crime in a dystopian Detroit. A significant update in January of the previous year introduced a New Game Plus mode, enhancing replayability. Our review gave it a solid 7/10, praising its authentic '80s vibe and engaging gameplay.

For those craving cooperative multiplayer action, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre by Sumo Digital and Gun Media offers an intense asymmetrical experience. Players can either try to survive or take on the role of the notorious Slaughter Family. Despite some technical challenges, it provides thrilling moments, earning a 6/10 in our review.

Lastly, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory from Bandai Namco offers a more relaxed pace with its turn-based monster-collecting gameplay. It expands the digital world with over 320 Digimon to discover and collect, providing a fresh perspective on the original Cyber Sleuth narrative.

As these new titles become available, don't forget to download the March 2025 PlayStation Plus titles—Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Sonic Colors: Ultimate, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection—before they are replaced on March 31. Whether you're a current subscriber or considering joining, this is a great opportunity to enrich your gaming library.
