Among Us 3D Launching Soon: Enjoy Non-VR Multiplayer Fun

In 2022, Innersloth transformed the gaming landscape by introducing a virtual reality version of Among Us, which was met with widespread acclaim. Now, the studio is pushing boundaries again with Among Us 3D, a new iteration that brings the beloved gameplay into a fully immersive first-person perspective, accessible without a VR headset.

Players will enjoy the familiar mechanics they've grown to love, now reimagined for traditional gaming setups. A teaser trailer gives fans a sneak peek into how tasks, meetings, and sabotage will play out through their character's eyes. Moreover, enthusiasts can get hands-on experience with this new mode at Steam's upcoming "Game On" festival, where a free demo will be available for testing.

Although an official release date hasn't been set, Among Us 3D is slated to launch first on PC, optimized for keyboard and mouse controls. The game will feature an updated interface to improve accessibility. Additionally, cross-play functionality will enable players of Among Us 3D to join forces with those on Among Us VR, though the original Among Us will continue to operate independently.

To enhance the gaming experience, Innersloth is set to introduce a new in-game currency called Stardust in the coming months. This currency will expand customization options, allowing players to personalize their avatars and further contribute to the game's ongoing development.
