Big news for fans of the Now You See Me series: the third installment, officially titled Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, is set to dazzle audiences on November 14, 2025. But that's not all—Now You See Me 4 is also in the works, promising even more thrilling magic and heists.

This exciting announcement came directly from Adam Fogelson, chair of the Lionsgate Motion Picture Group, during CinemaCon. The franchise, which has already grossed $700 million worldwide, continues to captivate fans with its blend of magic and high-stakes action.

Director Ruben Fleischer, who helmed Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, has signed on to develop and direct the fourth film as well. Fleischer, known for his work on blockbuster hits like Uncharted and Venom, reunites with stars Jesse Eisenberg and Woody Harrelson, who also featured in Fleischer's debut film Zombieland. The third installment introduces a new generation of illusionists, including Justice Smith, Dominic Sessa, and Ariana Greenblatt, alongside Rosamund Pike.

Bobby Cohen, the original developer and producer of the series, will continue to produce the upcoming films alongside Alex Kurtzman from Secret Hideout. Meredith Wieck will oversee the project for Lionsgate.

Adam Fogelson expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “Ruben has delivered all of the twists and turns and sleight-of-hand that audiences expect from this franchise while upping the stakes and scale in every way. We can’t wait for audiences to discover what he’s done with the third film and are thrilled he’ll be making even more magic with us.”

Ruben Fleischer shared his excitement, saying, “Directing Now You See Me: Now You Don’t was as much fun as making any movie in my career. It combines two of my favorite things—heist movies and magic—and working with this incredible cast was truly magical. Of course, I want to keep it going.”

Despite the franchise's commercial success, critics have been less kind. IGN's review of the original Now You See Me gave it a 6.3/10, noting, “Now You See Me seemed so promising, but it squanders its cool cast and nifty premise on smarmy, shallow characters and a flimsy, nonsensical plot.” Similarly, Now You See Me 2 received a 6.2/10, with IGN stating, “Now You See Me 2 isn't the worst magic act in town, but it's all flash and no substance.”

As anticipation builds for Now You See Me: Now You Don’t and its sequel, fans can look forward to more thrilling illusions and heists from this beloved franchise.
