The 7th generation iPad Air was released in March and is the latest model. It's only one year newer than the 6th generation and the primary upgrade is the transition from the M2 to the M3 chip. The M3 chip offers about a 20% performance boost over its predecessor and is only about 20% slower than the iPad Pro's M4 chip. Otherwise, the iPad Air retains the stunning Ultra Retina XDR display, Wi-Fi 6E, and 5G cellular connectivity. It's compatible with the Apple Pencil Pro, Apple Pencil (USB-C), and Magic Keyboard, effectively turning it into an iOS hybrid laptop. Additionally, the iPad Air supports Apple Intelligence.
