HOW TO PLAY

Ludo is a classic dice and race game, played with four pieces per player and a set of dice. Naija Ludo currently supports two players, each controlling eight pieces across two houses. The objective is simple yet challenging: move all eight of your pieces home before your opponent does.

MOVEMENT OF PIECE

The player with the red house starts the game. In the event of a win, the loser takes the red house in the next game. To bring a piece out of the house, you must roll a 6 on the die. Once on the track, pieces can move based on any die outcome. The journey of a piece starts from home and aims for the center of the board, covering 56 steps. A piece can only be removed from the game if it completes the journey or captures an opponent's piece.

PIECE CAPTURE

Capturing an opponent's piece is a key strategy in Naija Ludo. If your piece lands on a block occupied by an opponent's piece, you capture it, sending it back to its home, while your piece is removed from the board. The game's secret lies in maximizing your captures while minimizing your losses. Note that a piece cannot capture if the remaining die outcome cannot be used after the capture.

IMPORTANT NOTE

1. A player can roll the dice consecutively if each roll results in a 6.
2. You must move your piece according to the die outcome before rolling again.
3. For a faster and smoother gameplay experience, go to settings and enable DIRECT COUNT.
