ZA/UM, the studio behind the acclaimed RPG Disco Elysium, has exciting news for fans and newcomers alike: they've announced an official mobile version of the game, exclusively for Android devices. This move aims to introduce the game to new audiences while providing existing fans with a convenient, on-the-go gaming option. The first two chapters will be available for free, with a one-time payment unlocking the full, ad-free experience. This approach allows players to make an informed decision about their potential purchase.

ZA/UM emphasizes their dual role as creators and custodians of the Disco Elysium IP, a responsibility they take very seriously. This dedication is reflected in their efforts to craft a compelling mobile experience. The studio has shared several screenshots showcasing the game's new 360-degree scenes, designed to immerse mobile users directly into the world of Revachol. Additionally, the mobile version features brand new audio with full voiceover, enhancing the already rich character interactions.

Disco Elysium is set to launch on mobile via Google Android in the summer of 2025. It's important to note, however, that while the studio name remains the same, many of the original key team members behind the initial release of Disco Elysium have since left ZA/UM. Some of these former members are now working on spiritual successors to the game.
