Important Announcement as of December 14, 2023

Android Users: If you have already downloaded the companion app to your current device or it has been added to your library, you will continue to be able to play the game with the relevant companion app. However, please note that companion apps for Knowledge is Power: Decades are no longer distributed on the Google Play Store for devices running Android OS versions newer than Android 11.

Apple iOS Users: You will continue to be able to play the game with the relevant companion app regardless of the iOS versions.

How to Play

Knowledge is Power: Decades is a high-energy quiz game that challenges your friends and family with thousands of pop culture questions spanning the '80s, '90s, '00s, and '10s. To play, use your smartphone as a controller, allowing up to six players to compete. Be the fastest to answer, use Power Plays to gain an edge, and participate in touch screen Challenges to climb the Pyramid of Knowledge.

Setup:

• Ensure your PlayStation®4 system is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your compatible mobile device.
• Follow the in-app instructions to connect your device.

Features of the Companion App

• Character Customization: Pick your character and snap a selfie using fun filters.
• Private Answers: Answer quiz questions without other players seeing your choices.
• Power Plays: Choose from a selection of Power Plays to slow down your rivals.
• Touch Screen Challenges: Engage in six different touch screen Challenges using taps, swipes, drags, and more.
• Quiz Blast: Play 'Quiz Blast' and challenge your friends to beat your time via the app when you're away from your PlayStation®4 system. Note that message and data rates may apply.

Language Support

The app supports multiple languages including English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Greek, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Arabic.

PlayLink Experience

PlayLink titles are designed for social gaming, allowing everyone to enjoy without the need for multiple DUALSHOCK®4 wireless controllers. Simply install the game on your PlayStation®4, use your smartphone or tablet as a controller, and gather around your TV for a unique gaming experience.
