Author:Kristen Update:Mar 28,2025

The competitive landscape of gacha games is intensifying as we delve into the latest financial performance data from February 2025. A noticeable trend is the revenue decline among some of the industry's leading titles, including Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail, and Zenless Zone Zero. This shift has caught the attention of the gacha gaming community, which closely monitors these financial metrics.

miHoYo, now widely recognized as HoYoverse, has been at the forefront with its trio of flagship games. However, February 2025 brought a dip in their earnings. Honkai Star Rail, despite its strong performance, slipped to the fourth position with a revenue drop from $50.8 million to $46.5 million. Genshin Impact, a perennial favorite, took a more significant hit, falling from over $99 million to $26.3 million after the excitement of the Mavuika banner event subsided. Zenless Zone Zero also saw its earnings decrease from $26.3 million to $17.9 million, securing the eighth spot. Fans, however, can look forward to potential revenue rebounds with upcoming updates and new character releases planned for these titles.

In the same period, Pokemon TCG Pocket emerged as the top-earning gacha game, raking in an impressive $79 million. Love and Deepspace followed closely in second place with $49.5 million, while Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle rounded out the top three with $47 million in revenue.
