How to Play Dunkest
1. Create Your Fantasy Basketball Team: You start with 95 Dunkest credits to build your roster. Your team should include 2 centers, 4 guards, 4 forwards, and 1 coach. Choose wisely to maximize your team's potential.
2. Dunkest Credits: Each player and coach is assigned a value in Dunkest credits, which can fluctuate based on their real-life performance throughout the season. Keep an eye on these values to make strategic decisions.
3. Scoring System: Your team's score is determined by the real basketball statistics of your players. The starting five, the sixth man, and the coach earn 100% of their points, while players on the bench earn 50%. This system rewards you for selecting players who perform well in actual games.
4. Captain Selection: From your starting five, you can designate one player as your Captain. This player's Dunkest score will be doubled, making this a crucial decision for boosting your team's overall performance.
5. Trading Players: Between Dunkest Matchdays, you have the opportunity to trade players. By removing players from your roster, you'll recover their credit value, which you can then use to acquire new talent. Be aware, though, that each trade incurs a penalty on your next Matchday score, so plan your moves carefully.
