An App for the Dog Board Game
This app enables you to play Dog in multiple ways:
1. Connect with other players via Bluetooth to play Dog together. If you have fewer than four or six players, the app fills the remaining spots with computer-controlled opponents.
Alternatively: 2. Use the app solely as a digital game board. For this mode, you'll still need the physical cards. Play with the cards as you normally would, while moving your pieces on the tablet's display (a larger screen is recommended).
Beyond replacing the physical board, this app provides several helpful features:
When you attempt a move, the app displays the exact card value needed to make it, helping you avoid counting errors.
A complete history of all moves is available in a table. To view it, simply press the "History" button.
You can undo moves. Just press the "Back" button to revert.
The app prevents illegal moves. You can disable this rule in the settings if you wish to position pieces freely or follow unofficial house rules.
Game pieces stay securely on the board and cannot be accidentally knocked off or displaced.
Location permission is required for the app to perform Bluetooth scans for nearby devices.
