This app, Caro-Gomoku-Renju-FiveinarowgamewithstrongAI, offers four popular game variations:
- GOMOKU Freestyle: The first player to create an unbroken line of five or more stones horizontally, vertically, or diagonally wins.
- CARO (Blocked Rule - Gomoku+): Victory requires an unbroken line of five stones that isn't blocked on both ends. Lines like XOOOOOX or OXXXXXO are not winning lines.
- GOMOKU Standard: The first player to form an unbroken line of five stones horizontally, vertically, or diagonally wins. Lines of six or more stones do not automatically win the game.
- RENJU: To balance the inherent advantage of the first player (Black/X), additional rules are in place: Black is prohibited from creating two separate three-stone lines or two separate four-stone lines, or an unbroken line of six or more stones.
The app boasts a powerful AI opponent with adjustable difficulty levels, from easy to extremely challenging. You can also play against a friend. Additional features include zoom capabilities, support for two-player mode and AI play, the ability to view the last move and threat lines, and unlimited undo functionality.
