Introducing the Carplounge Autopilot, a revolutionary system that transforms the way you control your BaitBoat using an Android tablet or phone. The essential software is available for free on the Google Play Store and is compatible with any Android device that supports Bluetooth connectivity. By connecting your tablet to the boat via a transmitter box, you can seamlessly manage your BaitBoat directly from your touchscreen. In manual mode, you can steer the boat as you would with a traditional BaitBoat, with the added benefit of seeing the boat's position, route, and orientation (including compass functionality) displayed and updated in real-time on the map. Additionally, you can pinpoint and save promising fishing spots using the integrated GPS, labeling them for easy reference, such as "jetty left," "spot 1," or "home."
Switch to autopilot mode, and you unlock the ability to program routes by selecting and combining saved points with specific actions. For instance, you can set your boat to navigate to "Sandbank," open the right hopper upon arrival, then proceed to "Spot 2" to open the left hopper, and finally return to your fishing spot with a blink signal. The boat can then autonomously follow this programmed route. With the capacity to store virtually unlimited spots and routes, and equipped with state-of-the-art measurement technology including position and acceleration sensors, the latest GPS, and compass technology, your boat's navigation is precise, with 90% of routes achieving accuracy within 30cm.
The Carplounge Autopilot also intelligently handles line tension when deploying multiple rods to different spots. The onboard electronics detect when you tension the line, and the boat adjusts its course to counteract the pull, ensuring it stays on a direct path to your chosen target without unnecessary detours.
While the autopilot replaces the traditional remote control, we offer the flexibility to use both. You can switch between controlling the boat with your tablet or a connected remote control. Our app, optimized for 10-inch Android tablets with Bluetooth, allows direct steering via the touchscreen.
The free app, downloadable from the Google Play Store, is continuously developed and updated by our team. Through automatic software updates, we ensure that new features, modifications, and enhancements are quickly available without the need to return the autopilot or the boat for servicing. The app updates automatically, similar to other tablet/smartphone applications.
This system is designed exclusively for use with the RT7 & RT4 V4.
