With its user-friendly interface, the app meets driver needs with features like maps and navigation, a music and media player, phone calls, contacts, and more. Car Penguin supports multiple languages, themes, and bidirectional layouts.

Key Features

Customizable Dashboard

The dashboard is designed for quick access to essential features, with options to customize both layout and content.

Important: Each page in the app has its own options menu. When a page is open, tap the menu icon (hamburger icon) to view its settings.

Maps, Search for Places, Points of Interest, and Turn-by-Turn Navigation

Google Maps shows your current location, address, and traffic conditions, with options to customize the map with various themes and layouts. Search for places on Google Maps, save them to lists for easy future navigation, and use Google APIs for directions and turn-by-turn navigation. Additional navigation features include trip statistics and logs.

Music Playback and Video Viewing

Car Penguin includes its own media player with controls for local audio and video files, album lists, and a dedicated page for shortcuts to other pre-defined apps. You can also add well-known media providers as external widgets in the dashboard or toggle bar.

Smartphone Integration

Access your contacts and favorites lists to make calls using the system's default dialer or transfer calls via Bluetooth to your mobile phone. To transfer calls over Bluetooth, sync call logs, and SMS, you need to install Car Penguin Server (a free app available at http://carpenguin.com) on your phone.
