What is the anime "Haikyu!!"?
"Haikyu!!" is an animated series based on the youth sports manga by Haruichi Furudate, which has been serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) since 2012. Set in the world of high school volleyball, it follows the journey of Karasuno High School, once dubbed the "Fallen powerhouse, flightless crow," as they strive to reach the "top."
The story revolves around the passionate protagonist, Shoyo Hinata, who is captivated by volleyball, and a cast of unique characters. In August 2022, it was announced that a two-part theatrical sequel to the anime would be produced.
